The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) also called Medical Degree (M.D.- Doctor of Medicine) degree program takes six years to complete, including preclinical and clinical throughout with patients and doctors. Degree in Medicine will train international students to become professional, compassionate doctors.

The program focuses on preparing students with extensive knowledge in medical sciences and clinical skills, to produce qualified and competent medical professionals who are equipped for the latest practices and developments in the industry. The curriculum places a strong emphasis on clinical training in medicine and surgery.

Course description During a general education in medicine, medical students learn the fundamentals of anatomy and diseases; how the internal organ systems work; the structure of the cells; and much more. The first few semesters of general medicine education often cover basic medical knowledge at the university. Medical students study basic medical and humanitarian disciplines such as Anatomy, Biochemistry, Genetics, Immunology, Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Psychology and Sociology. Clinical disciplines start from the third year. The last six semesters require medical students to study through training within the institutional care system mixed with theoretical education at the university hospital. Fourth and fifth years students work as a doctor assistant.

After completing a medical degree, graduates can pursue any number of medical specialties or go into research. Specialties require between three and six years of additional training after completing residency and obtaining a license. Specialization often involves an additional post- graduate degree on top of a medical degree, as well as on-the-job training at selected hospitals.

Students can choose following specialties: Surgery, Therapy, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Anesthesiology and Reanimatology, X-ray Diagnostics and Therapy, Ultra-sound Diagnostics etc.

Medical universities in Ukraine are internationally recognized and provide good quality medical education. Most of all Ukrainian universities are recognized in almost all Asian and African countries. Ukrainian Medical degree is valid all over the world and acceptable for MCI ( Medical Council of India), PMDC (Pakistan Medical and Dental Council ) , UNESCO, World Health Organization, HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa), SCHS (Saudi Commission for Health Specialties ), PLAB (The Professional and Linguistic Assessment Board) in the UK, USMLE(The United States Medical Licensing Examination ),MCC (Medical Council of Canada) for Screening test conducted by the National Board of Examination.
